The Bible is the voice of God to men today. God speaks through His Word. From the host of dramatic questions in the Bible, Dr. Criswell has selected the five which ". . . are the most meaningful to (him)." He describes them as messages that are ". . . spoken, preached and prepared for a listening audience. They are simple and plain. They are evangelistic, seeking to bring to a saving faith in Christ Jesus the many hundreds from every walk in life . . . "

Dr. Criswell answers these gripping questions from the Bible from the Word of God itself. In a series of graphic illustrations from both the Old and New Testaments, he gives God's answer to these questions from His Word.

Not only will the Bible speak to your heart in these messages, but incidents and happenings from here at home and from the mission field, will also impress the message upon your heart with impact and unforgettable emphasis.

These messages were preached in the annual pre-Easter services held for the past 39 years in Dallas, Texas, and sponsored by the First Baptist Church there. Thus, they have all the fire and zeal of Dr. Criswell's tremendous ministry and all the ardor of his great heart.

W.A. Criswell is pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas, where he succeeded the late famous Dr. George W. Truett. This church is probably the largest church in the South land and boasts in its membership the world's leading evangelist, Billy Graham. Dr. Criswell received his B.A. degree from Baylor University, Waco, Texas, in 1931. He received his Master of Theology degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1934; and his Ph.D. from Southern Seminary in 1937. He was awarded the honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Baylor University in 1945.
