Particularly satisfying is the author's cognizance of the importance of clear definitions, solid and faithful biblical exegesis, and carefully reasoned conclusions. — Concordia Journal

Bahnsen confronts the emotionally-charged issue of homosexuality and the fundamental issues related to it — individual rights and biblical authority. In the face of social pressures to allow homosexual practice without legal restraint, Bahnsen clarifies personal freedom under both the law and scriptural directives.

Bahnsen's case is solidly evangelical amid divergent attitudes toward homosexuality with the Christian church. But churches are encouraged nonetheless to accept and support homosexuals who repent and confess Christ as Savior.

GREG BAHNSEN was a graduate of Westmont College (B.A.) and Westminster Theological Seminary (M.Div.; Th.M.); he received a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Southern California. He was an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and taught apologetics and ethics at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi.
