Gratefully

THROUGH THE YEARS there have been so many people who have touched our lives and influenced our thinking, and we would like to give them all credit for anything of value we have borrowed, made part of our lives, and now we share here. But — our "rememberers" aren't that good! So, to those who have lectured at conferences we have attended, written books we have read, and whose ideas we have absorbed to the point where we don't know where theirs stops and ours begin — thank you!

    There is one person whose book we have read not once, but many times, and we want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. David F. Mace for all Whom God Hath Joined has meant to us.

    We also are very grateful to our friends who have shared both the joys and honest struggles of their marriages. They have added so much to our lives and to the writing of this book.
